Training Sessions are from 10am to 12am on Sunday Mornings. A briefing is held each morning prior to beach activities commencing.
Parents are welcome to assist in the running of the program at both training and carnivals.
It is the responsibility of parents to ensure Nippers are sun smart and well hydrated on the beach at both training and carnivals. A basket for each age group is provided at Carnivals, by the Club, to place drinks and sunscreen in. Please ensure items are labeled and collected at the end of each carnival.
Lost items can be collected from the Clubhouse. Please check the lost and found basket on a regular basis.
A sausage sizzle is held at the end of each training session.A donation is requested to cover costs. This is a great time to socialize and meet other members of the club.
Competition Carnivals are held throughout the season (refer to Nipper Calendar Attached)
-
Please arrive at Carnivals 15 minutes prior to start time and report to your age group trainer.
-
We are required to advise Life Saving Victoria of Club entries four days before a carnival; therefore we will obtain names at training the week prior to each carnival.
-
Participants must wear a skull cap at all times when using club equipment. They are available from the Club for $10.00. Skull caps must be worn at Carnivals.
-
It is preferable that participants wear Club bathers and vests at Carnivals but it is not compulsory. Sun smart hats and vests must be worn between events.
Nippers are placed in age groups according to their date of birth on midnight 30th September 2007.
